Where: a beautiful farm near downtown Mars Hill, NC (exact address sent a few days before the event) - less than 30 mins from downtown Asheville, NC

For a short period of time during Spring, we have the opportunity to partake in table fare unlike anything else - meristematic shoot vegetables. Asparagus is the only commonly eaten shoot vegetable among most North Americans but there are so many more that go unnoticed and they’re very good!

• Learn to ID common wild shoots, greens, fruits, mushrooms (based on availability) & more!

• Get hands on foraging experience

• Enjoy gourmet foraged food preparations

• Hang out with other awesome nature nerds & foragers!

Bryan Bramlett is an avid forager and permaculturist who leads events on wild food foraging, land stewardship and ecotherapy. He holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology which he fuses with his passion for Earth-care to facilitate therapeutic nature-connection experiences. He has practiced & studied foraging extensively with many top-tier teachers across the country. His mission is to build healing ecosystems to bring communities into a balanced relationship with the Earth and one another.

Refund policy: Refunds are possible if submitted at least 48hours before the event. It is very unlikely we can refund any last minute requests, except in an extreme emergency.

Weather: Class will happen even with rain, unless it’s extreme. I will do my best to keep you informed as soon as possible if changes seem likely. In the event of extreme weather, class will be rescheduled.

Animals & Children policy: Please refrain from bringing animals. It’s a big distraction. Children over 10 are welcome with a separate ticket. If you want to bring children under 10, please message me directly (healingecosystems@gmail.com) to consider this on a case-by-case basis.
